With Phase 1 recovery underway, residents encouraged to keep up positive progress for Mother’s Day

The Regional Information Center is reminding residents to practice social distancing and avoid large gatherings for Mother’s Day on Sunday. We’re encouraging families to spend the holiday with those currently in your household and think of creative ways to celebrate the moms out there without possibly spreading COVID-19.

As has been reported, people who have COVID-19 can spread the virus without showing symptoms. Good intentioned celebrations with family can lead to unintended COVID-19 transmission. Watch the this video on proper social distancing here.
