50th COVID-19-related death, 5 new COVID-19 cases reported in Washoe County

Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting an additional COVID-19-related death in Washoe County: A male in his 80s with underlying health conditions. This is the 50th COVID-19-related death in Washoe County.
In addition, there are five new cases of COVID-19 with 17 recoveries.
- Total COVID-19 cases in Washoe County: 1,361 (+5 from 5/22)
- Deaths: 50 (+1)
- Recoveries: 781 (+17)
- Active cases: 530 (-14)
- Currently hospitalized: 59 (+1)
- Cases who have discharged from hospital: 111 (+0)
