25 additional COVID-19 cases, 127 recoveries reported

COVID-19 Dashboard is back

March 30, 2021. Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting 25 additional COVID-19 cases in Washoe County and 127 recoveries. No additional COVID-19-related deaths were reported.

The COVID-19 dashboard has been relaunched and is live on our COVID19Washoe.com website. We thank you for your patience as we updated data feeds. There are no visible changes to the dashboard. The data feeds now allow for adjustments retroactively if it’s determined a case resides outside Washoe County. You can view the full dashboard here.

The COVID-19 vaccine is free and is available to those who work certain segments of the frontline/essential workforce and those 16 years and older with an underlying health condition. Learn more.

  • Total COVID-19 cases in Washoe County: 44,093 (+25)
  • Deaths: 660 (+0)
  • Recovered: 41,512 (+127)
  • Active cases: 1,921 (-102)
  • Hospitalized with COVID-19: 23 (-2)
  • Positivity rate: 5.2%
  • Vaccines administered in Washoe County: 197,644 (+0 from 3/29; 31.95% of Washoe County population 16+ have had vaccinations initiated)
  • Washoe County residents fully vaccinated: 79,175 (20.68% of Washoe County population 16+)
  • Vaccines administered by Washoe County Health District: 88,818 (+2,139 from 3/29)

Hospital bed and ventilator information

According to the Nevada Hospital Association, in Washoe County as of March 30:

  • 60 percent of all licensed hospital beds are occupied (+0% since 3/29)
  • 63 percent staffed hospital beds are occupied (+0%)
  • 45 percent of all Intensive Care Unit beds are occupied (+4%)
  • 20 percent of all ventilators are in use (-10%)

NOTE: Numbers are for all hospital patients in Washoe County and not just COVID-19 patients.

COVID Trace is a contact tracing mobile app developed by the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services that uses a technology called the Exposure Notifications System from Google and Apple. The app exchanges anonymous information with other phones in your vicinity and can notify you if you’ve come in contact with someone who has tested positive for COVID-19.See more here.
