April 30, 2021 Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is providing a COVID-19 vaccine community newsletter in Washoe County to help educate residents on the mass vaccination effort by the COVID-19 Response Team and community partners.
Update from the COVID-19 Response Team
Providers in Washoe County have administered 323,019 vaccines overall (130,070 fully vaccinated). Visit the State of Nevada’s vaccine dashboard to see more. All Nevadans 16 years and older now eligible for the COVID-19 vaccine. More than one-third of Washoe County residents over the age of 16 have completed their vaccinations (130,070 residents).
Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) Vaccine Update
The Food and Drug Administration and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention lifted the recommended pause on the Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) COVID-19 vaccine use following a thorough safety review. Read more.

Mobile COVID-19 Vaccine Clinic at Dolan Dodge Ram FIAT
Community Health Alliance has partnered with Dolan Auto Group to offer COVID-19 vaccines every Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Dolan Dodge Ram FIAT, 757 Kietzke Lane in Reno. Click here to make an appointment. Walk-ins are welcome based on vaccine availability.
Homebound vaccine appointments available
The Washoe County Health District is providing COVID-19 vaccines to homebound residents.
People age 16 years and older who are homebound, including those who require a taxing effort to leave home, require assistance of another to leave the house or are bedridden, can call 775-328-2427 or email covidvaccine@washoecounty.us to sign up.
