Reno, Sparks. Nev. March 10, 2022. The Washoe County Regional Information Center is announcing that its COVID-19 Dashboard will be updated weekly starting next week, joining other jurisdictions.
Daily updates on the dashboard will end Friday, March 11. The weekly updates will begin Wednesday, March 16. The data updates on Wednesday will include the cases reported from Tuesday the previous week, through Monday of the current week to mirror the Nevada Department of Health and Human Services’ dashboard.
The Washoe County Health District will continue to collect COVID-19 case data. The dashboard will still feature datasets like the 7-day moving average and daily case counts for previous days. Other tabs on the dashboard will still include cases per 100,000 and data on COVID-19-related deaths.
The Health District recently embedded the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) COVID-19 Community Levels feature, which measures the impact of COVID-19 cases on health and healthcare systems locally. The three indicators are low (green), medium (yellow) and high (orange). Washoe County is currently at low.
