19 de nov., 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – El Centro Regional de Información reporta cinco muertes relacionadas con COVID-19 en el Condado de Washoe y 304 casos nuevos de COVID-19, dándole al Condado de Washoe más de 20,000 casos hasta la fecha.

Los difuntos incluyen:  Una mujer en sus 90s con una afección subyacente, una mujer en sus 70s sin afecciones subyacentes, una mujer en sus 70s con una afección subyacente, un hombre en sus 50s con afecciones subyacentes, y una mujer en sus 60s con una afección subyacente.  Ha habido 227 muertes relacionadas con COVID-19 en el Condado de Washoe.

El total de casos de COVID-19 en el Condado de Washoe eclipso los 20,000 hoy con 304 reportados (total de 20,046).  Hubo 157 recuperaciones.

Nov. 19, 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting five COVID-19-related deaths in Washoe County and 304 new COVID-19 cases, giving Washoe County more than 20,000 cases to date.

The deceased include: A female in her 90s with an underlying health condition, a female in her 70s with no underlying health conditions, a female in her 70s with underlying health conditions, a male in his 50s with underlying health conditions and a female in her 60s with an underlying health condition. There have been 227 COVID-19-related deaths in Washoe County.

Total COVID-19 cases in Washoe County eclipsed 20,000 today with 304 reported (total is 20,046). There were 157 recoveries.

The Nevada Hospital Association reported 234 COVID-19 positive cases hospitalized in Washoe County and 50 suspected of having COVID-19. The full data set from the NHA can be found here.

The Washoe County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is looking for medical professionals or those without medical experience to volunteer to help fight COVID-19 in Washoe County.

MRC was created to support public health and emergency response efforts during natural disasters and other emergencies by providing trained volunteers to help staff shelters, alternate care sites, and points of dispensing. Given the rise in hospitalizations and increased demand in COVID-19 testing, volunteers are needed to support the region. Nov. 18, 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – El Centro Regional de Información reporta un récord de 610 casos de COVID-19 en el Condado de Washoe, rompiendo así el ultimo récord por 49 casos (561 el 15 de nov. , 2020).

Hoy es la cuarta vez que se rompe el récord en los últimos 11 días.  El promedio móvil de casos nuevos por día también fijo un récord con 408.7.

Las hospitalizaciones en el estado de Nevada también han llegado a un nuevo máximo, según la Asociación de Hospitales de Nevada (NHA).  Según el pdf de la NHA de hoy, se confirma que 230 casos de COVID-19 están hospitalizados y 46 casos con sospecha de COVID-19 están hospitalizados (total de 276).

La semana pasada el widget de datos “Actualmente Hospitalizados” se eliminó del boletín debido a la confusión entre la comunidad porque solo contenía residentes del Condado de Washoe.  Los casos de COVID-19 confirmados y sospechados que están hospitalizados es para todos los condados de residencia y es más importante debido a lo critico que es la disponibilidad de camas de hospital durante la pandemia.

Nov. 18, 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting a record 610 COVID-19 cases in Washoe County, breaking the previous record by 49 cases (561 on Nov. 15,2020).

Today is the fourth time the record has been broken in the last 11 days. The seven-day moving average for new cases per day also set a record with 408.7.

Hospitalizations in the state of Nevada have reached an all-time high, according to the Nevada Hospital Association (NHA). According to today’s NHA PDF, there are 230 confirmed COVID-19 cases who are hospitalized, and 46 suspected COVID-19 cases are hospitalized (276 total).

Last week, the data widget “Currently Hospitalized” was removed from the dashboard due to confusion in the community because it only contained Washoe County residents. The confirmed and suspected COVID-19 cases who are hospitalized is for all counties of residence and is far more important as the availability of hospital beds during this pandemic is critical.

Nov. 17, 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting two additional COVID-19-related deaths in Washoe County and 230 additional COVID-19 cases.

The deceased are a male and a female in their 80s; both had an underlying health condition. There have been 222 COVID-19-related deaths in Washoe County, which are determined by a physician or medical examiner to be COVID-19-related as the main cause of death, underlying cause of death or contributing cause of death.

Additionally, we’re reporting 230 new COVID-19 cases in Washoe County with 102 recoveries. The active case count on Nov. 1 was at 2,321 – today it is 5,709.  The 7-day moving average for new cases is at 380.1.

  • Deaths: 222 (+2)
  • Recovered: 13,201 (+102)
  • Active cases: 5,709 (+126)
