  • Total en casos de COVID-19 en el Condado de Washoe: 18,065 (+222 desde 11/13)
  • Muertes: 215 (+0)
  • Recuperados: 12,858 (+91)
  • Casos activos: 4,992 (+131)

Pruebas de COVID-19 realizadas en el Condado de Washoe 

  • Total en pruebas de COVID-19 realizadas en el Condado de Washoe desde el 14 de noviembre: 205,371 (+2,457 desde 11/13)

Nota: Estas cifras son proporcionadas por el Estado de Nevada y se encuentran en el Boletín Estatal.  Las pruebas de COVID-19 podrían incluir residentes que no residen en el Condado de Washoe, pero recibieron una prueba en dicho Condado.

Nov. 14, 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting 222 additional COVID-19 cases in Washoe County with 91 recoveries.

  • Total COVID-19 cases in Washoe County: 18,065 (+222 from 11/13)
  • Deaths: 215 (+0)
  • Recovered: 12,858 (+91)
  • Active cases: 4,992 (+131)

  • Total number of COVID-19 tests performed in Washoe County as of November 14: 205,371 (+2,457 since 11/13)

  • 72 percent of all licensed hospital beds are occupied (+0%)
  • 56 percent of all Intensive Care Unit beds are occupied (-9%)
  • 33 percent of all ventilators are in use (+6%)

NOTE: Numbers are for all hospital patients in Washoe County and not just COVID-19 patients.

Washoe County seeks public feedback on COVID-19 support efforts

COVID-19 cases are still surging, but Washoe County is seeking public input on how the pandemic has affected residents and businesses in order to formulate a recovery plan. 

The county and regional partners have issued two public surveys that will create the foundation for effective recovery planning. The surveys seek to understand financial, educational, social, and emotional impacts on the community, as well as employment and economic losses. Participate now.

13 de nov., 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – El Centro Regional de Información reporta tres muertes relacionadas con COVID-19 y un récord de 529 casos nuevos en el Condado de Washoe.  

Los difuntos son tres hombres (dos en sus 50s y uno en sus 80s), uno tenía afecciones subyacentes y no se sabe si los otros dos tenian775 afecciones subyacentes o no.

Los 529 casos de COVID-19 reportados son la mayoría hasta la fecha (anteriormente fue de 469 el 7 de noviembre). El aumento en transmisión de COVID-19 está creando problemas en toda la comunidad, incluyendo la reducción de capacidad en los hospitales del aérea, retrasos en la notificación de resultados de pruebas de COVID-19 así como investigación de enfermedades y rastreo de contactos.

Se urge a los residentes a seguir el Quédate en Casa 2.0 del gobernador Steve Sisolak y abstenerse de salir de casa y participar en convivios hasta que la tasa de transmisión de enfermedades disminuya.  Entre más pronto nos unamos y tomamos precauciones contra la propagación de COVID-19, más pronto podremos regresar a la normalidad.

Nov. 13, 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting three COVID-19-related deaths in Washoe County and a record 529 new COVID-19 cases in Washoe County.

The deceased are three males (two in their 50s and one in his 80s), one had underlying health conditions, and it was unknown if the other two had underlying health conditions.

The 529 COVID-19 cases reported is the single most to date (Previous was 469 on Nov. 7). The rise in COVID-19 transmission is creating issues throughout the community, including reduced capacity at our area hospitals, delays in COVID-19 test result notification as well as disease investigation and contact tracing.

Residents are urged to follow Gov. Steve Sisolak’s Stay Home 2.0 and refrain from leaving your home and participating in gatherings until disease transmission rates decrease. The sooner we can come together and take precautions against spreading COVID-19, the sooner we can go back to normal.

Nov. 12, 2020. Reno/Sparks, NV – The Regional Information Center is reporting 433 new COVID-19 cases and 139 recoveries.

The 433 cases reported is the second most reported in one day (Record is 469 on Nov. 7). The seven-day moving average for new cases has increased for 10 straight days is currently at 356.4.

Demand for COVID-19 testing remains high. The Washoe County Test Site at the Reno-Sparks Livestock Events Center collected 718 samples on Thursday, the most collected in one day.

  • Total COVID-19 cases in Washoe County: 17,314 (+433 from 11/11)
  • Deaths: 212 (+0)
  • Recovered: 12,667 (+139)
  • Active cases: 4,435 (+294)

Volunteer to help fight COVID-19 in Washoe County

The Washoe County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is looking for medical professionals or those without medical experience to volunteer to help fight COVID-19 in Washoe County.

MRC was created to support public health and emergency response efforts during natural disasters and other emergencies by providing trained volunteers to help staff shelters, alternate care sites, and points of dispensing. Given the rise in hospitalizations and increased demand in COVID-19 testing, volunteers are needed to support the region.
